I enjoy singing songs in class. It’s interesting and intriguing.

When I look at the lyrics, I can also learn new words.

I enjoy the role-playing in speaking class. The role-playing exercises enable me to better understand how native speakers use intonation and stress in conversation. And I’m starting to feel more at ease saying things in that way.

Listening exercises were tough and confusing for me at first because the speakers speak so quickly. The words rarely sound the way they appear in writing.

Now that I’ve gotten better, I can recognise connected speech.

Mrs. English’s classes have been fantastic. I’ve been taking the classes for almost two years and I’m very pleased with my progress. I now feel more at ease and secure when speaking English, as well as more fluent.
